Complete Engineering Service
Lewis Australia offers a Complete Engineering Service (CES). This service has been formalised with a well proven process and is illustrated in the following flow chart.
Click to view flowchart | The Feasibility Study identifies the real problems, the range of solutions and recommends the most appropriate concepts. The best possible concepts lead to lower overall project costs, increase the performance of the resultant equipment, and improve product quality. Outputs of this phase are concepts, estimates of cost and an engineering report. Where there is a higher degree of certainty, a fixed price quotation can also be given. |
Click to view flowchart | The Design phase is commenced when the client decides to proceed on the basis of the Study. The outputs of this phase are a well-defined project plan, arrangement drawings and a more accurate estimate of cost and can include a specification and a further report. |
Click to view flowchart | Construction commences when the design is complete and the client has approved the project and design. All equipment is assembled and tested in our workshop, and the client is asked to witness the tests and accept the equipment prior to shipment to site for installation. The output of this phase is completion of the project, on time and on cost. |
The client is in control with this process. The client is encouraged to be involved throughout, and at the commencement of each phase, the client's decision to proceed is the starting point This decision is made with a full knowledge of costs and timing.
